"If you’re someone traveling through this part of South Carolina, and want some good hot home cooking, I advise you to stop here. They have wings, breakfast and good homemade drinks to wash it down with. I’m a semi truck driver from Fort Lauderdale Florida. And when I tell you the food here is top tier they deserve to be in a bigger restaurant. The people are welcoming and very hospitable. I will be stopping here every single time I pass through to get this good food!!! #SOUTHERNHOMECOOKING oh and yes for the semi truck drivers it’s an easy in and easy out for your 18 wheelers ."

"I'm a food snob, I've lived in multiple states and travel all over (Al, Ms, La, Ga, Tx, Fl, TN, KY, NC, Oh just to name a few states I've stayed in or go through regularly) I've tried food all over, and am very very picky. That being said this is my top 5 of places I've ever ate at. And I've been a lot of places. This is the closest I've found to my favorite southern home cooking (like what you'd get in Louisiana! Aka the state with my favorite foods and restaurants) Ever since moving to SC I've looked and looked for somewhere that had good southern food and this place takes the cake. I've tried just about everything on the menu the last year or so I've lived here. My favs are the fried shrimp, catfish, chicken wings, ribs are to die for, fried chicken is fried to perfection, and the Mac and cheese is phenomenal! Don't even get me started on the red velvet cake I never even liked the stuff until I tried it here. Turns out the people whose cakes I previously tried just couldn't cook it right lol bc when I tried phat daddys red velvet cake I realized I'd truly been missing out! That's probably why they're always sold out of the stuff! I'd seriously sell my soul for that cake it's freaking heavenly! Always moist, never dry and the perfect amount of icing. My kids won't eat anyone's cake but phat daddys now. They snub anyone who even tries to offer bc nothing measures up to the taste! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you don't at least try their food you are truly missing out bc it is fire!! The best thing I've found in SC (besides my husband lol)"

"I was visiting the Williston on business and when I looked up popular restaurants Phat Daddy's was high on the list and had very good reviews. I called ahead to place my order. .I ordered fried chicken and garlic fries with butter. It did not disappoint. When you taste those fries, It's like a party in your mouth. The fried chicken is well seasoned and the perfect level of crunchiness. I really enjoyed the meal. And will definitely return if I'm ever on this side of town again, keep up the good work y'all. Those homemade drinks add a special touch to the meal too and if you order a combo it comes with the meal. Its a win/ win."
